BIO (EN) - King D. (bass)

Somebody wondering what the D. stands for? It is not "Dirk", this much we can tell you...

Dee got his first guitar at age eight, but he couldn't play it yet because of his little hands... Off to music school then and join the local brass band on... bugle!

During his whole childhood, Dee stays attending music lessons (even up to the academy) and plays bugle, trumpet, percussion, etc...

At age fourteen, he picks up the guitar and plays with several cover bands. At 22, D. switches to bass, because bass players are too hard to find.

As from 1990, he starts playing solid bluesrock with a trio, called "Big Daddy & The Steamline".

On it goes with a whole number of Blues bands, until he joins "Carlos Bluesbox" in 2004.

Then, in 2008, he meets Al and Jerry and with them, founds "The Masters of Mystery", the current Zoomatics predecessor.

Only few musicians can play such a wide range of musical styles and still deliver the right feel to play the Blues. This bassplayer can, there's no doubt about that...
